K. Vidyullatha Reddy

Before joining NALSAR University of Law, K. Vidyullatha Reddy worked as in-charge Principal of Manair Law College, Khammam for four years, while also serving as a law teacher at the same institute. This prior experience shapes her perception of administrative work as an integral part of her official duties. Currently, she holds the position of Chairperson of the Post Graduate Legal Education Centre and Convener of the Moot Court Committee, actively participating in the administration of legal education institutions. In the past, she has also worked as Convener of the University examination committee.
Actively involved in organising various training programs and conferences on behalf of the University, she has coordinated training programs for advocates, including those funded by the Ministry of Law of Justice and Ministry of Environment and Forests. She has also facilitated the South India law teachers training program in association with the British Council and month-long training programs for advocates aspiring to be judges. Additionally, she took the lead in coordinating the International Conference on consumer law in association with the International Association of Consumer Law, marking the first-ever conference of the organisation in India.
Her passion for setting up the legal aid cell and coordinating its activities is evident through her involvement in outreach programs and the establishment of legal aid clinics within and outside the University.
Outside of her academic pursuits, she enjoys indulging in nonacademic interests, such as watching regional politics and Telugu movies.

Prof. Kesava Rao obtained M.L. and Ph.D. from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He was awarded Gold Medals being University First in B.L., M.L., Ph.D., and also bestowed with Best Researcher Award for Ph.D thesis on 'Legality of Claims in Commercial Advertisements'. He has more than 40 years of teaching and research experience.
He was the former Vice-Chancellor of DSNLU, Visakhapatnam and NUSRL, Ranchi. His specialisation is Commercial Law and Law of Evidence. He authored the book CONTRACTS: CASES AND MATERIALS (published by LexisNexis) and edited the 18th edition of WOODROFF and AMIR ALI'S Law of Evidence, 20th edition of SARKAR's Law of Evidence, and edited publications of DSNLU, Visakhapatnam and NUSRL, Ranchi.
He served as Additional Professor of Law at NLSIU,Bengaluru, Registrar of CNLU, Patna and Coordinator (Academic Affairs) at NLUO, Cuttack. Besides being Principal of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar College of Law, Andhra University.
Dr T. Raghavendra Rao

Before joining NALSAR, Dr T. Raghavendra Rao had worked as a faculty member at NUJS, Kolkata, M.S. University of Baroda, and ICFAI University. With over 20 years of teaching and research experience, he specialises in Environmental Law and Family Law. Furthermore, he has a strong academic background, having published articles and papers in reputable law journals, and actively participated and presented papers in numerous National and International Conferences.
Dr A. Sridhar

Dr A. Sridhar is an Assistant Professor at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Before joining NALSAR, he practised as a Company Secretary for a decade, where he handled various corporate law issues. He has done his LL.M from NALSAR University of Law and his Ph.D. in Law from Osmania University on the Topic “Competition Issues in Air Transportation Sector and Indian Aviation Policy: A Critical Analysis”. He worked as a Part-Time Lecturer at PG College of Law, Osmania University, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad. He edited two books, namely “Corporate Laws: The Challenges of 21st Century” and “Recent Trends in Corporate Laws: Impact on Socio-Economic Development in India”. He published 12 articles and presented 21 research papers at the national level, 9 research papers at International Level Seminars and participated in 4 International and National Seminars. Acted as a resource person for the technical session on “Inclusive growth and Various dimensions” at UGC-ICSSR Sponsored Two Day Global Seminar on “Dr. B.R.Ambedkar & Constitutionalism” held in the Year 2018 conducted by Department of Law, OU and also acted as resource person for the “National Symposium on Consumerism, Consumer Citizenship and Sustainable Consumption” conducted by Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad held in the year 2020.
He is the resource person for the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for EDP and MSOP Programme conducted by the Institute. He is also resource person for Few Courses in Corporate Law Regime at Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad. Ishita Das

Ishita Das is Assistant Professor of Law and her academic interests include International Space Law, Cyber Law, International Environmental Law, International Trade Law, and Business Law. She has completed her undergraduate training from National Law University, Jodhpur, specialising in Business Law. After her graduation, she has been associated with a think-tank, head-quartered in the UK, working on diverse issues ranging from trade policy and sustainability to foreign policy and public health. She has also worked with the Central Government working on areas concerning violence against women and the Right to Information in Delhi. Subsequently, she pursued LL.M. from The W.B. National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, specialising in Corporate and Commercial Law. She was also the Gold-Medalist of her batch, winning several gold medals based on her academic performance. She has an academic experience of about 2 years wherein she has taught courses such as Cyber Law, and Law and Justice in a Globalizing World, among others, to both undergraduate and graduate students at the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam. Subsequently, she joined Amity Law School, Noida, as Assistant Professor – I, wherein she taught courses such as Information Technology Law, and International Environmental Law, inter alia. In her free time, she likes to play basketball, paint or sketch, and write poems or short stories.

Poosarla Bayola Kiran graduated from Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU), Visakhapatnam with Seven Gold Medals. Apart from being the best outgoing student, he has also secured Gold Medals in Constitutional Law, Corporate Laws, Law of Banking, Labour Laws, Criminal Law and History. He completed LL.M (Business Laws) from Andhra University with Distinction. He cleared UGC-NET in December, 2015. He also has a PG Diploma in Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy from Andhra University. His areas of interest are Sports Law, Jurisprudence, Corporate Laws and Constitutional Law. No, the admission to the Programme is on a rolling basis.

Students who enrol are expected to have basic knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and computer applications. Everyone should have a working webcam and microphone (either inbuilt or external). It is advised to have good internet speed. It is important to note that the EBC Learning LMS can be accessed through laptops or desktops via an internet browser such as Google Chrome. The ebclearning.com platform is not compatible with mobile devices.

Students are expected to put in at least 30 hours of study for each credit.

Yes, attendance is mandatory. Only candidates who have the prerequisite of 75% attendance in the Personal Contact Programme (PCP) sessions shall be allowed to appear for the End Semester Examination.

Your evaluation for the programme will be based on various components. The evaluation will consist of assignments/projects/case studies, an end-semester examination, and a dissertation. For the assignments/projects/case studies, they will contribute 30 marks towards your final evaluation. The end-semester examination will contribute 70 marks towards your final evaluation. Additionally, there is a dissertation component with a maximum score of 200 marks. The evaluation for the dissertation will be divided into two parts: the written report (150 marks) and the viva-voce examination (50 marks).

In order to obtain a master’s degree, a candidate should obtain a minimum of 50% marks or the equivalent grade, which is B, in every subject and the dissertation. In addition to achieving the minimum grade, you are also required to submit the assignments/projects/case studies as prescribed.

If a student fails to score a minimum of 50%, they can apply for re-evaluation by submitting a written request along with the re-evaluation fee within 15 days of result declaration. The paper will be sent to a different subject expert, and the re-evaluation results will be communicated within 45 days. A change in the original score will only be made if there is a difference of FIVE marks or more. The re-evaluation result is final, and no further appeals will be entertained.

With regard to Ph.D. Admissions, candidates with an M.A. Degree are eligible for Ph.D. programmes at NALSAR as per the present rules, but in case of other institutions, it will be as per their eligibility criteria. Generally, a degree awarded in the ODL mode is considered equal to a regular degree.
