The precise valuation of the corporate debtor is very important for the key decision makers to decide the future of the corporate debtor which has a far reaching impact, and this crucial responsibility is vested upon registered valuers.

Valuation of assets is a key factor for informed decision-making under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC). Therefore, the roles of valuers and lawyers is the key to a successful mechanism under IBC. Wrong valuation can prove detrimental to the overall insolvency and liquidation process, and it is important for valuation professionals to be diligent in preparing valuation reports.

His technical skills include valuation of complex instruments and different classes of units/ shares by applying option pricing models such as BlackScholes model, Binomial model etc. Amrish Garg is a Chartered Financial Analyst with CFA Institute, USA.
